Ann E. "Betty" Mieling, age 82, of Lawton passed away Friday, March 17, 2017.
Betty was born on July 3, 1934 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Art and Imogene (Higher) Mieling. She graduated from Lawton High School in 1952 and from Cameron University in 1954. Betty opened her own business, Service Loans, in the 1980's. She sold it in the 1990's and opened an antique shop called Now and Then Memories. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church since she was fifteen years old. In her free time, Betty enjoyed traveling and dancing at the VFW on Saturday nights, but most of all she loved spending time with her daughter and granddaughter.
Preceded in death by her parents, Betty is survived by her daughter, Kelly Deluca of Lawton; her granddaughter, Franki Deluca of Elk City, Oklahoma and her sister, Peggy Turner of Weatherford, Texas.
The family will have a visitation on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Whinery-Huddleston.
Graveside services for Ann E. "Betty" Mieling will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton.
