Billy Leon Aldridge

Billy "Bill" Leon Aldridge passed away August 4, 2018 in Oklahoma City.  Billy was born to James William and Eula Aldridge in Duncan, OK on July 13, 1942.

Billy attended Duncan Public Schools and graduated in 1961.  He then attended Central State College for two years.  Bill served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Billy spent several years "bulldoggin" on the rodeo circuit and also spent some time hauling cattle cross country.  He spent 20 years as a regional driver for Scrivner Inc. and then as a cross country driver for several other companies.  Bill spent his work life getting to know people and enjoying the ride.

Bill loved to travel and see the sights.  His travels took him through 46 of our 50 states.  Bill was an avid golfer, a game which he taught his daughter to love as well.  He was not shy in supporting the University of Oklahoma and enjoyed cheering on the crimson and cream.  Bill never met a stranger and had a joke or story to share with everyone he saw.
Bill loved spending time with his family and friends and he was a member of Yukon Church.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Wayne Aldridge and sister, Patsy Aldridge.

He is survived by his wife Debbie of the home; daughter, Kim Suttles and husband Eric of McAlester; grandchildren, Preston and Kayley Suttles; brother, Ronnie Aldridge and wife Helen of Yukon; sister, Colene Whitaker of Yukon as well as several nephews and nieces and a host of

Viewing will be held 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 8 at Yukon Church, 11715 N.W. 10th St., Yukon, OK, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
