Billy Dewayne Page was born Aug. 5, 1948, to Bill and Bennie Page in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He departed this life on Nov. 23, 2016, at the age of 68.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Immanuel Church in Duncan with the Rev. Billy Morgan and Tamra Haskell officiating. Military honors will be conferred by the Stephens County Honor Guard. Inurnment will be in the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin at a later date.
Billy's family moved to Marlow in 1953. He graduated with the Marlow High School Class of 1966. After high school, Billy enlisted with the U.S. Army in September of 1966. He served in Vietnam from 1968-1969. He was honorably discharged in September of 1972.
Billy was an engineer for Rock Island Railroad and a cross-country truck driver for Hoffman Trucking, with CB handle of "Little Fat Indian". He was also employed by Arkla Gas in the Chickasha/Marlow area and then by Family Dollar Distribution Center. He retired in 2010.
Billy's hobbies included fishing, stock car racing, mechanic work and spending time with his family.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Bennie Page, and brother Dixon Curtis Page.
Billy is survived by his wife, Sheron R. Page, of the home in Duncan; daughters, Brenda D. Page of Oklahoma City, Loyce L. Solomon of Marlow, Laura D. Hinkle of Arlington, Texas, Stacy L. Matthews and husband Clyde of Marlow, and Christina M. Page of Oklahoma City; sisters, Doris Ruth Page and Cheryl Diane Keeling; and brother, Lawrance Dean Page. Billy has seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
