Bobby Lee Payne, lovingly known as "Bob" to his family and friends, departed this earthly life for his Heavenly reward on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at the age of 82.
The son of Eli Whitney and Bessie Lee (Beavers) Payne, Bob was born June 12, 1934, in Marlow, Oklahoma. After graduating from high school, Bob married Charleen Payne.
Bob provided a warm and loving home for his family by working in the oil field industry for many years. He successfully owned I.C.O. and operated TRC Oilfield Sucker Rod Company.
During a point in his career, Bob entered into an agreement not to compete in the oilfield industry for a number of years, during which time he owned a chain of Subway restaurants.
A devoted Christian family man, Bob loved spending time with his family and being active at Eagle Heights Baptist Church. He will be deeply missed, but cherished in the hearts of his loved ones and friends.
Preceded in death by Parents, Eli W. Payne and Bessie L. (Beavers) Payne; brothers, Paul W. Payne, and Jerry Payne; wife, Charleen Payne and granddaughter, Allison Asbell. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Diane Stark; Daughter, Bobbie Nickell; son, David Lee Payne; daughter, Chris Isbell; daughter, Lynn Sitzes; sister, Laketta Williams; seven grandchildren, Sarah Stroup, Whitney Stark, Joshua Asbel, Buffy Nickell, Adrian Sitzes, Ryan Nickell, and Christopher Nickell; eight great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Kaleb, Kolten, Brooklyn, Maggie, Charlie, Arabella, Emma, and another on the way in June of 2017 and many other loving family and friends.
