Curtis Ray Maloney, 76, lifelong resident of Duncan passed away peacefully Saturday morning, June 10, 2017 at Wilkins Nursing Home in Duncan. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday June 15, 2017 at Duncan Cemetery with Pastor Raymond Glass officiating. Services are under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Curtis Ray Maloney was born on Sept. 27, 1940, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Mart Allen Maloney and Francis Irene (Harris) Maloney. He graduated from Duncan High School in 1958. From there he worked on the Maloney family farm raising cattle and hogs. Friends and family knew Ray as an outstanding livestockman who had a great eye for raising champion Duroc and Yorkshire pigs. Ray enjoyed fishing, working hard, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Betty Mosley.
Survivors include his brother, Rick Maloney and his wife Linda of Minco, Oklahoma; his sister, Nadine McLain of Duncan; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special friend Pamela Brown and family.
