David Harold Davis, 75, and longtime resident of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away peacefully Wednesday April 25, 2018 at Duncan Regional Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Tanglewood Bible Fellowship Church, Duncan with Dr. Brad McCoy officiating. Interment will be at held at a later date at the DeLeon Cemetery, DeLeon, Texas. Local arrangements have been provided by Don Grantham Funeral Home.
David Harold Davis was born on April 4, 1943 in DeLeon, Texas to Harold and Christine (Tinney) Davis. David worked as a Regional Superintendent with Halliburton for 30 years. He married Phyllis Silhan on December 12, 1976 in Kermit, Texas.
David attended Tanglewood Bible Fellowship Church in Duncan. He loved the Lord and his Family most of all. David enjoyed traveling around the country in his RV. He also loved fried chicken with a passion and his dog, Tera.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Phyllis Davis of the home; his sons, Shannon Dale Sanders and his wife Kara of Duncan and Randy Silhan and his wife Shannon of Lubbock, Texas; his brother, Harry Davis and his wife Hilda of Grand Prairie, TX; his grandchildren, Jordan Nuckles and her husband Ben, Kevin Sanders and his wife Hali, Samantha Silhan, Landry Silhan, Logan Sanders, Mason Sanders, Travis Coffman and a great granddaughter Ella Nuckles.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Christine Davis; and his brother, Bobby Lynn Davis.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Stephens County Humane Society PO Box 669 Duncan, OK 73534 or to the Tanglewood Bible Fellowship Children's Ministry PO Box 562 Duncan, OK 73534
