Dorsey Kaye Rogers Dorsey Kaye Rogers, of San Benito, TX, (formerly of Duncan, OK), passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the age of 72. Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 9th, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Dorsey was born on September 7, 1946, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Jasper Jason and Madred Ellen (Murphy) Rogers, the first of seven children born to their marriage.
Dorsey owned and operated Petromanus Corporation and worked in the petroleum industry his entire career following his service in the U.S. Air Force.
An expert in his field, Dorsey's knowledge was often sought by corporations and state governments. He frequently spoke at conferences and published papers on environment friendly water and waste management.
During his career in the petroleum industry, he traveled all over the world. It was always interesting to hear him talk about his travel adventures. Dorsey loved good music and gardening and had a vast knowledge of many subjects. He also enjoyed fishing, especially with his grandson Ryan. Most importantly, he loved and lived for his family.
Dorsey is survived by his daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren, Stacie, Bill, Hailie and Ryan Packard of Colorado, his wife Emily Rogers of Texas, his siblings, Mary Lou Woody, Keith and wife Stacy Rogers, Denise Seay, Patricia and husband Albert van der Breggen, and Michael Rogers all of Oklahoma plus many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Aaron Rogers and wife Hazel Rogers.
