Dustin Thomas Martin, 26, left this world on Sunday, December 31, 2017 in Amber.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Glory Bound Church, with Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. There will be a family and friend viewing on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Dustin was born Tuesday, January 1, 1991 in Joplin, MO, to Dustin Martin and Heather Hurst. He had lived in the Comanche and Marlow most of his life and previously lived in the Miami, OK area where he attended high school. He married the love of his life, Emma Frizzell on July 27, 2013 in Lawton and had only been married 4 short years before his unexpected death. To Dustin, Emma and Creed were his everything as well as his soon to be son, Liam. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to make them laugh along with everyone else. Dustin enjoyed riding motor cycles and tinkering with them. It was very rare for you not to see him with a smile on his face. Dustin was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Leigh Martin of Marlow, son, Creed Martin, son, Liam Martin, father, Dustin Martin, Sr., mother, Heather Hurst Douglas of Miami, sister, Samantha Whitteaker and husband John of Miami, grandmother, Diann Martin of Marlow, grandmother, Bonnie Morrison of Elgin, his in-laws, Steve and Chrissy Frizzell, sister-in-law, Carlie Frizzell of CA, sister-in-law, Bailey Frizzell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, numerous aunts and uncles, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by 2 grandfathers, C.D. Baugh, Thomas Martin, great-grandmother, Frances Denson, and a sister-in-law, Jennifer Dodson.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dustin Martin Fund at BancFirst in Marlow.
Pallbearers will be: Blake, Ryan, Cody, YaYo, John, Bryan, and Steven.
