Eleanor's Story

Eleanor Charlene Dysart, 90, a former resident of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away Sunday October 29, 2017 at the Grace Living Center in Edmond, Oklahoma.
A graveside service will be 1:00pm Friday November 3, 2017 at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery Elgin, Oklahoma with Paul Palmer officiating. Services are under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Eleanor was born June 7, 1927 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Loren and Emma Kellog. She married William M. Dysart, the love of her life on July 23, 1946 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on September 20, 2014.
Eleanor was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, William M. Dysart Jr. and wife Sandy of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Ronald Dysart and wife Judee of Jenks, OK; two daughters, Patricia Palmer of Eufaula, Oklahoma and Rebecca Dysart of Oklahoma City; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kelly Garrett; and one grandson, Cliff Blackwood.
Honorary Bearers will be Colby Dysart, Cass Dysart, Jude Dysart, Reid Dysart, Zane Slack and Chad Palmer.
