Faye Mamie Beck-Dixon, 89, of Duncan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Wilkins Health & Rehabilitation Community in Duncan. A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Duncan on Monday, March 5th at 1:00 PM. Arrangements have been provided by Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Faye Mamie Beck-Dixon was born on November 12, 1928 in DeQueen, Arkansas to Taff Hendrix Kitchens and Vera Mae (Smith) Kitchens. Faye worked as Registered nurse in California and in several Duncan area nursing homes and private home health care. She was a hardworking, independent and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Duncan. Faye enjoyed collecting spoons, arts and crafts.
Faye is survived by her sons; Donald Copeland and his wife Virginia of Duncan, Ed Greenwood of The Colony, Texas, Gary Kirby of Duncan; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; two step daughters; two step sons; several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Faye is preceded by her husbands; Ralph Beck and Carl Dixon; her brothers, Lee Kitchens, Buster Kitchens, Bill Kitchens, Dusty Kitchens; daughter, Nancy Gene Breesawitz and her parents.
