Frankie Belle Anthony, left this world peaceful at home on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Duncan at the age of 92.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, with Rev. David Gardner officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Frankie was born Thursday, October 8, 1925 in Bradley, to Edward and Freda (Zwahr) Selzer. She had lived in the Grady County most of her life and had graduated from Bradley. Frankie married the love of her life Travis Daniel Anthony on August 5, 1942 in Ada and had been married 51 wonderful years until his passing on February 27, 1993.Frankie was the manager for the OU Athletic Cafeteria and was an avid OU football fan. She enjoyed Thunder basketball and dancing at Senior Citizens Center. Frankie loved for her family and being with them. She was a member of the St. Paul Methodist Church in Duncan.
Survivors include, a son, Terry Anthony of Lawton, a daughter, Rosanne Brown and husband Jr. of Duncan, 4 grandchildren, Nuell Brown and wife Darla, Leslie Hunter, Beth Cox and husband David, Todd Anthony, 8 great-grandchildren, Dani Hunter, Derek Brown, Garrett Brown, Anthony Cox, Clifford Hunter, Alyssa Cox, Ashton Cox, Tim Hunter, 2 great-great grandchildren, Max Brown, and Cannon Brown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by, her husband, 2 sons, Travis Edward Anthony, Danny Paul Anthony, her parents, 5 brothers, Boots Selzer, Fred Selzer, Art Selzer, Frank Selzer, Eddie Selzer, 6 sisters, Nora Dobyns, Ella Dobyns, Bertha Lawson, Helen Austin, Lucille Loman, Grace Selzer.
Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons.
