Grover's Story

A resident of Jackson, Louisiana, Grover passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 3, 2017.  He was 91 years old.
There will be a graveside service at Loco Cemetary, Loco Oklahoma at 11 a.m.  Friday, Feb. 10 with Bro. Randy Southerland officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.
He is survived by his Daughter, Betty Wisdom Hullinger and son-in-law Scott Hullinger, Ron  Conrad - son-in-law, grandchildren, Misti Martin-Fuller, Matthew McCord and Briana Arsenault; great-grandchildren, Grant Falcon, Mia Martin-Fuller, Mason McCord, Xavier Martin-Fuller, Alyssa Arsenault, Alex Arsenault.  Royce Wisdom - brother, Dr. Cranfield Wisdom - brother, Shirley Wisdom - sister-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents Estelle and Grover Wisdom, sister Wynell Wisdom Sawyer,  sister Betty Wisdom Sutterfield, Joy Wisdom - sister-in-law, and daughter Debby Wisdom Conrad.
A loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all he met,  Grover was a fun loving man, that loved fishing, boating, camping,  telling old stories,  jokes and spending time with his family.  His eyes would light up with his grandkids, great-grandkids and dogs.   He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge and the Color Guard.  Grover served in WWII, in the Marines and landed on Iwo Jima.
