Jackie Jack Lee Taliaferro Jackie "Jack" Lee Taliaferro, 72, of Duncan passed away peacefully at his home in Duncan, Oklahoma on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 14, at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK with Pastor Mike McCord and Tanner Zumwalt officiating. Military honors will be provided by Stephens County Honor Guard. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Don Grantham Funeral Home.

Jackie Lee Taliaferro was born on March 24, 1946 in Las Animas, Colorado to Bob and Mamie (Leverette) Taliaferro. Jack graduated from Duncan High School in 1964 and played football and basketball winning All State in 1964. After high school, Jack would service his country honorably joining the United States Marines in February of 1966 and serving as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War. Jack would marry Maria Yvonne Moore on July 3, 1988 in Duncan. Jack worked in part sales for Billingsley Ford Lincoln of Duncan for over 17 years before retiring in 2014. Jack enjoyed reading, history, and genealogy.

Jack is survived by his wife Yvonne Taliaferro of the home; his sons, Johnny Zumwalt, Cory Taliaferro, Tommy Zumwalt, Brian Taliaferro; his grandchildren, Taylor Taliaferro, Tanner Zumwalt, Cheyenne McGannon, Toby Taliaferro, Zoe Hoving, Maci Zumwalt, Rio Zumwalt, Brantly Taliaferro, Keeley Garland, Eli Taliaferro, Kaci Garland, Chason Taliaferro; his brother, Bob Taliaferro and many nieces, nephews and friends. Jack is preceeded in death by his parents, Bob and Mamie Taliaferro and his brother Chan Shotz.
