James Roland Pass, 53, of Comanche passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
James was born September 29, 1963 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Richard and Christine (Tadlock) Pass. James graduated from Comanche High School and had been employed by Sooner Trailer, Hydra Rig and was self-employed welder. James married Melisa Landis on May 14, 2005. He enjoyed hunting, and his passion was fishing. James was loved and will be missed greatly by his many friends and family.
James is survived by his wife, Melisa of Comanche; children: Kiera Snyder Pass Bartmess of Duncan, Dallas Landis of Terral, and Shelby Landis Terry of Duncan; his mother Christine Pass of Comanche; sisters, Christy Dumos of Velma, Beck Sanders of Comanche, Debbie Morgan of Duncan; and one brother, Todd Pass of Bray.
Grandchildren: Allie, Charity and Serenity Bartmess, Kiersten, Liliahna, and Aurora Landis. Grandson to be Baby Terry due in November. Numerous nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his father, Richard Roland Pass.
