Janice Ann Rollins, 77, of Duncan, Oklahoma, was born on June 8, 1939, in Empire City, to Goble and Sarah (Williams) Jones. She went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 29, 2017, with her loving family by her side.
Family visitation will be on Tuesday, May 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Whitt Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 3, at 2 p.m. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Nathan Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.
Janice graduated from Empire High School in 1957. She married Bobby Rollins on April 26, 1958. She taught advanced education at Empire and also served on the Empire School Board. She also helped take care of many Empire children. She enjoyed children and watching them learn. She also loved traveling and cooking for family and friends. She adored her only grandchild, Macy, who was the love of her life.
Janice is survived by her son, Todd Rollins and his wife Rachel; and her granddaughter, Macy Rae Rollins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Loyd Rollins; her son, Kimmy Ray Rollins; and her parents, Goble and Sarah Jones.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Donaldson, Brent McReynolds, Shea Howton, Nathan Anderson, Brad Beck, and Jesse Porter.
