Jeffrey's Story

Jeffrey Joe "Jeff"  Clinkenbeard, age 51, of Comanche, tragically passed away on Saturday evening, September 16, 2017 from injuries sustained  in a motorcycle accident.  A memorial service will be held Monday, September 25th at 10:30 a.m. at Freedom Bike Church, with Bro. Billy Morgan officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Duncan City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Jeff was born June 17, 1966 to Joe and Linda Brazeal Clinkenbeard in Comanche.    He was a 1984 graduate of Comanche High School, and he attended college in Ada, OK.  He loved his son and daughter, and all his family dearly.  He also had a great love of motorcycles, he had been riding from an early age.  Jeff loved to go fishing, and he had a great love for all animals, including his many pets.  He had a very strong work ethic, working as a machinist for Halliburton, and his current job and Voight manufacturing, in Meridian.  He loved spending time with his church family at all their activities, and watching it grow.  Jeff always had a smile and kind words to share.  He was a very compassionate and caring man, a devout Christian who was loved by many.
Jeff leaves behind his two children: Jade Clinkenbeard and fiancé Josh Baker, Duncan, OK;and Chance Clinkenbeard, Duncan, OK;  his mother, Linda Brazeal Clinkenbeard, Duncan, OK; one brother, Greg Clinkenbeard and wife Kristin, Comanche, OK; and Gaylyn Medlin and husband Case, Paradise, TX; an uncle, Don Brazeal, Rockville, MN; an aunt Gail Hardin and husband Floyd, Hennessey, OK; his nieces and nephews: Trey Clinkenbeard and wife Jessica; Kale Clinkenbeard; Austin Medlin, and Lynsey Medlin; also Mary Pregrove, the mother of his daughter, Jade; and many cousins and countless dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe; his grandparents, Delbert and Bernie Brazeal; and Jack and Betty Clinkenbeard; his aunt, Judy Jones; and Kim Dickey, the mother of his son, Chance.
Honorary bearers will be members of Freedom Biker Church.
