Jodie Lee LaForce, walked into the arms of Jesus on March 3, 2017, at 47 years of age. He was with his wife and friends, serving Christ. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at the Patterson Avenue Baptist Church Comanche, Oklahoma, with Pastor Trent Young officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Duncan, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home. The family will receive guests on Monday March 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jodie was born Feb. 6, 1970, to C.D. and Lula LaForce. He was a mischievous man who loved OSU football and horses. He enjoyed leather work and helping his wife with Children's Ministry at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church. Jodie first saw Kasey atop of a horse trailer in April of 2003 and was smitten. In December of that same year she finally asked him out. He spent his life loving and laughing with friends and family.
Jodie is survived by his wife, Kasey. Their three children, Kylie Brown, of Duncan, Cody Brown and fiance' Reavin Havron, of Duncan, and Trent Brown of the home. His two sisters, RoseAnn Miller and husband, Vernon, of Chickasha, Teresa Lynch and husband, Dub, of Duncan; one brother, Carey LaForce and wife, Tina, of Oklahoma City; his aunt, RexAnn Massey of Harrah, OK, and granddaughter in vitro, Hazel Brown, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.D. LaForce and Blanche LaForce, and his grandparents.
