Patricia Suzanne Beeson


Patricia Suzanne Beeson, 62, a lifelong resident of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, January 17, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. A Celebration of Patti Beeson's life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 20th at New Hope Baptist Church West with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Service arrangements under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Patti was born on March 31, 1955 in Taipei, Taiwan to Jack Harold Zimmerman and Nell Annette (Seymore) Zimmerman. She attended Lawton Eisenhower High School in Lawton, OK graduating in 1973. Patti first met the love of her life, William E. Beeson, in 7th grade and their love continued through high school together. On January 5, 1974 Patti married William in Lawton, Oklahoma. Patti, also known as "Foxy" to her loved ones, was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her life and profession. She attended her children's and grandchildren's sporting and school events and always made sure they were loved and well cared for. Patti attended the First Christian Church in Norman, OK and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Duncan, OK.
Patti is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Dr. William E. Beeson of the home; her son, Jed Beeson of Norman, OK; her daughter, Spyce Grimmett and her husband Tyler of Goldsby, OK; her brother Jack Zimmerman of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren, Maverick Beeson and Memphis Grimmett and many, many friends. Patti is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Harold Zimmerman and Nell Annette (Seymore) Zimmerman; her brother, Mark Zimmerman; and her daughter-in-law, Cathrin Springer Beeson.
