Rosa Earleen Burgin Dibrell was born February 18, 1926, in Terral, Oklahoma, and moved to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, just shy of her 92nd birthday, having lived nearly her entire life in the Duncan area.
A joyful celebration of Earleen's life will be held at 1:00pm February 17, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Duncan ,with Pastor Bryan Pain officiating. Services are under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home, Duncan.
The family will visit with friends at the funeral home February 16th ~ 5:00 to 7:00pm.
Earleen married Chuck Dibrell on February 24, 1961. She was a talented homemaker who was happiest when she was busy. When not running after three children, she was an amazing artist who could master any craft - sewing, quilting, knitting, ceramics, or oil painting.
She loved being Grandmother, or Dodo, to her 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to the legacy of her family, she leaves beautiful paintings and colorful quilts to be shared.
Earleen was a long time member of both First Baptist Church and Unity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Dibrell; her parents, L. B. And Ethel Burgin; sisters, Dorothy Zumar, Lucille Bienek, Imaree Hooper, Inetta Mullins; and brother, Boyd Burgin; and son, Robert L. Perritt.
She is survived by her children: Joe and Janice Lynn Dibrell of Oklahoma City; Vicki Perritt of Oologah; and Janis and Jim Bethany of Duncan; her grandchildren - Joel Dibrell, Jamie Dibrell Garcia, Brandi Perritt Franks, Bobby Perritt, Josh Bethany, Jilli Bethany Jones, Jordan Bethany Grovenburg, and Jenna Bethany Howell; 18 great grandchildren; her sister Betty Bullard of Duncan, and her brother Charles Burgin of Garland, TX.
