Duncan: Rev. Teddie Brent Bulla, 87, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, in Oklahoma City.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at the Immanuel Baptist Church, with Rev. Bob Willis and Rev. David Hale officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Teddie was born Sunday, July 7, 1929, in Marlow, to George and Ruby (Hill) Bulla. He attended Bray High School and following graduation attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He later graduated from Cameron University and then Oklahoma Baptist University.
He married his loving wife, Billie Verner, Aug. 23, 1950 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Duncan. Teddie lived in the area his entire life. He was a devoted Minister, husband, father, mentor and friend. He worked at Halliburton, the Department of Human Services and served in many churches in Oklahoma. Throughout his ministry, he was able to touch so many people who later became extended family to him. He faithfully served the Lord for over 55 years. His hobbies included fishing and gardening. Teddie proudly served in the 179 Infantry 45 Division. He attended Immanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include, wife, Billie Bulla of Duncan; daughter, Debbie Robinson and husband Jim of Duncan; grandson, Christopher Green of Vienna, Austria; grandson, Michael Green of Duncan; adopted grandson, Phil Shannon of Duncan; great-granddaughter, Abbey Green, and brother, Lindy Bulla of San Antonio, TX. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kathy Bulla, son in law, Jimmy Green, a sister and brother.
Pallbearers will be: Mike Green, Jim Robinson, Roy Willis, Kevin Tucker, Phil Shannon and Darrell Bowles.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Christopher Green.
