Terri Lynn Johnson, age 50, of Comanche, peacefully passed from her earthly home into her Heavenly Home early Monday morning, Jan. 9, 2017. A funeral service is at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 13 at Ray of Hope Church, with Mike McCord and Dow Pannell officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery. Viewing will be Thursday 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. The family will be receiving friends from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Terri was born May 10, 1966, in Duncan, to Delbert and Helen (Hartzo) Johnson. She had worked at Grandview School for the past nineteen years as a teacher's aide. Terri loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. She especially loved her faithful companion, her dog, Gizmo Johnson. More than anything else, Terri loved and cherished spending time with all of her family.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Johnson, Comanche; Joey Jinks, Comanche; four children, Ashley Green and husband Derrick, Comanche, Jayme Matlock and Stacy Skeen, Comanche, Quinton Goodin, Duncan, and Mackenzie Goodin, Duncan; one brother, Greg Johnson and wife Stacey, Walters; one sister, Chris Johnson, Comanche; four grandchildren, Cambree Skeen, Brenley Green, Cannon Savage and Cohen Chupp; also several nieces and nephews, including Corey and Shalynn Vaden, her cousins, and countless dear friends. Terri was preceded in death by her father, Delbert, and her sister, Debra.
