Thomas Lloyd Edmondson Jr., 97, of Duncan Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2017 in Duncan.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, November 10, 2017 at Addington Cemetery, Addington, Oklahoma with Rev. Dr. Janice Sharp officiating. Funeral services under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Thomas Lloyd Edmondson Jr. was born on March 25, 1920 in Addington, Oklahoma and graduated from Addington High School in 1938. He served with the 3rd Armored Division during World War II, earning a Silver Star for bravery by re-entering his burning tank to pull a buddy to safety. On November 21, 1945 in Comanche, Oklahoma he married Winoma Ann Bryan, whom he met in first grade.
Thomas worked for Mobil Oil as a pipeliner from 1945 to 1983 in Oklahoma, Indiana, Missouri and Texas before returning to Duncan in 1986.
"Lloyd", "Doe", "Eddie" hunted and fished for his first 38 years before taking up golf, which became his recreational passion.
Thomas is survived by his wife Winoma, of Duncan; daughter, Donna Pulliam and his son, Gary Edmondson, both of Duncan; grandson, Edward Russell and his wife Jessica of Austin, Texas; granddaughter, Julianna Willmott and her husband Bruce of Weatherford, Texas; grandson, Clark Pulliam of Duncan; 4 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
