Vicki Lynn Hood-Savage, 60, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017, with her family and friends by her side at Duncan Regional Hospital.
Vicki was born May 8, 1956 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Edwin (Eddie) and Mary Hood. She was a lifelong resident of Duncan. She was married in 1973 of which two children were born.
Vicki spent her summers at the lake, as a child and as a teenager, with her family and friends. As an adult, Vicki resided at Lake Humphreys and has always loved the calmness of the outdoors. When Vicki was younger, she worked at First Christian Daycare and later worked at Carl's Jr. as a shift leader for many years and loved her work family.
Vicki loved her dog, Lulu, she enjoyed reading books, riding motorcycles, talking about her grandkids and eating dinner at Frannie's. She was always jealous of how good Frannie could cook.
Vicki is survived by her two daughters, Shanda Savage, of Duncan, Shera Tahbonemah and her husband Gerald of Duncan; three grandchildren: Afton Savage, Rylynn Tahbonemah and Evan Tahbonemah, a brother: Larry Hood and his wife Becky of Duncan, sister: Carla Welch and her husband Dickie of Lone Grove, Ok. She had many nieces and nephews: Emily (Hood) Essick and her husband Chad of Spring, Tx, Jacob Welch and his wife Lara of Lone Grove, Ok, Ethan Welch of Lone Grove, Ok, Lindsey Barnes and her husband Glen of Empire, Zachary Brown of Duncan and Shanda Sapp of Duncan.
Vicki loved all of her Aunts and Uncles and all of their kids.
She is preceded in death by both her parents and grandparents.
