Viola's Story

Viola Beatrice "Bea" Sigle died peacefully at Marlow Manor on Dec. 31, 2016 in Marlow, Oklahoma at the age of 79.
Her funeral service is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, at the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tracy L. Wilson officiating.
Bea was born on Nov. 22, 1937, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Joe and Mamie Morris. She graduated from Duncan High School in 1957. She married Joe Howard Carroll, a truck driver in 1956.
Bea loved nursing and was a Certified Nursing Assistant. She also loved reading and arts and crafts. But most of all she loved all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Charlotte Ann Cobb and husband Jim, of Duncan, Joletha Jean Cobb and husband Hank, of Wilson, Oklahoma, and a son, Shawn Joe Carroll, of Duncan; two brothers, Joe Earl Morris and Delbert Morris of Duncan; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Shirley David.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
