Weanona Keck Bilbrey, 90, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, at Country Club Care Nursing Home, Duncan.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, at the Miracle Revival Center with Pastors Steven and Louetta Grace officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Dec. 28 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Weanona was born April 26, 1926, in the Nellie Area west of Duncan to Wilson Lee and Margaret (Edwards) Keck. She attended the Little Beaver Schools and graduated from Empire High School. She married Clyde Bilbrey on June 11, 1946, at Waurika, Oklahoma. They were married for over 70 years and were known throughout the area for raising parrotts and other exotic birds. She was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church and enjoyed sewing, genealogy and spending time with her family.
Weanona is survived by her husband, Clyde Bilbrey, of the home. Two sons; Dennis Bilbrey and wife Marilyn of Mustang, Oklahoma and Mike Bilbrey and wife Tammy of Duncan; one brother, Donald Keck and wife Jeanie of Sulphur, Oklahoma; four sisters, Bernice Daubenspeck and husband Venton, Carrie Tomlinson and husband Micky, Joy Price, and Margaret Cornwall and husband Joe, all of Duncan. Six grandchildren: Levi Bilbrey and wife Lindsay, Brett Bilbrey and wife Courtney, Kaci Ford and husband Trevor, Staci Crow and husband Cacy, Kelli Wooten and husband Wade, Katie Taylor and husband Derrick and eight great grandchildren and one on the way.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Margaret Keck; an infant son, Franklin Lee Bilbrey; two sisters, Leola Shorter and Violet Swanson; and a brother, Carl Keck.
