May 1, 1928 - Sept. 7, 2014 Comanche: Former longtime Comanche resident, Adron Burnice "A.B." Davidson, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014 at Parkview Baptist Church, Duncan, with the Rev. Steve Gillispie officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Comanche under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home, Duncan. The family will greet friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9 at the funeral home. A.B. was born May 1, 1928 at Comanche to Audie Bell (Glenn) and Ben Davidson. He married Mary Lucille Fleetwood on June 3, 1950 in Duncan. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lucille, of the home; three children, Mike Davidson of Carlsbad, N.M., Paula J. Anderson and spouse Jeff of Choctaw, and Pamela Talbot and spouse Ralph of Aluchua, Fla.; two brothers, Benny Ray Davidson and spouse Rene of Meade, Okla. and Royce G. Davidson and spouse Shirley of Paris, Texas; two sisters, Winnie Biffle and Doris Davis, both of Duncan. Two nephews who were raised as brothers; Ray Gene Williams and wife Lois of Lewisville, Texas and John D. Williams and wife Gayla of Comanche. Six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Paul D. Davidson, a brother Buster Davidson and three sisters Eula Davidson, Ellene rice and Lorene Williams. Pallbearers will be Matt Anderson, Sean Davidson, Collin Davidson, Braydon Davidson, Brodie Davidson, Jeff Teszlewicz and Kaylie Frey.
