Montgomery, AL - Andrew Charles Hanna, 48, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 5, 2025, due to a sudden health event.

Born July 10, 1977 in Douglasville, Georgia and raised in Duncan, Oklahoma and Marietta, Georgia, Andrew was known for his kind heart, easygoing spirit and his love for dogs. He dedicated his career to building homes and hotels across the Southeast, United States. He found greatest joy in spending time by the ocean, listening to his favorite jam bands, rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs and being surrounded by family, friends, and dog, Delilah.

Andrew was preceded in death by his wife Molly Hunter Hanna, who passed away following a battle with cancer. Their love directed his life, and even through his mourning, he always made time to connect with others who lost a great love.

He is survived by his mother Janeen Hall of Duncan, Oklahoma; his father and step-mother Paul and Prudy Hanna of Marietta, Georgia; sisters Jennifer Plank (and her husband Mark and their daughter Reagan) of Owasso, Oklahoma and Lindsey Ragan (and her husband Scott and their daughter Presley) of Roswell, Georgia; as well as step-siblings JD Sharp (and his wife Kali and their sons Jack and Davis) of Marietta, Georgia and Steve Sharp (and his wife Tara and their daughter Emerson and son Declan) of Atlanta, Georgia. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family, friends and coworkers who loved him immensely.

The family will plan a celebration of life at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Stephens County Humane Society or the Atlanta Humane Society in Andrew's memory.
