Duncan - Billy Joe "BJ" Ford, 48, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026. He was born Dec. 9, 1977, in Marlow, Oklahoma, to Larry and Kathy (Henson) Ford.

Viewing is available at Whitt Funeral Home from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Bray Cemetery with Gary Jones, Robert Kelly Sr., Robert Kelly Jr. and Matt Arnold serving as pallbearers.

BJ built a life rooted in love, loyalty and simple joys. He worked as a team leader at Walmart, where he was known for his strong work ethic, steady leadership and the affection he held for his work family. His coworkers were more than colleagues—they were an extension of the community he cared so much about.

He married the love of his life, Stephine Ford, and together they raised their son, Billy Joe Ford Jr., who was his greatest pride. BJ cherished every moment spent with his family, including his nephews, who brought him endless laughter and joy.

Creative at heart, Billy enjoyed drawing and had a passion for collecting Legos and Hot Wheels. He was always up for a good game night, and those evenings filled with friendly competition, laughter and togetherness became some of his most treasured memories.

BJ is survived by his wife, Stephine; his son, Billy Jr.; sister, Barbara Riley and husband Gary Jones III; brother-in-law, Robert Kelly Jr.; sister-in-law, Ashlee Arnold and husband Matt; nieces and nephews: Trevor Riley, Jordan Riley, Bryson and Rylynn Arnold; and mother and father-in-law, Robert and Jolynn Kelly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Kathy, and grandparents, Billy Paul Ford and Jorene Ford.
