Carole June "Howe" Cordell, age 74, of Granbury, Texas passed away on Thursday January 16, 2020. A private Graveside Service was held on Saturday January 18, 2020 at Holly Hills Memorial Park.

Carole was born on February 17, 1945 in Duncan Oklahoma to Thomas and Norma Howe. She was full of life, always up for a new adventure and an avid OU fan. Carole loved her husband, Robert. They met in first grade and went on to become childhood sweethearts. He was truly the light of her life. They loved traveling, especially to San Francisco.

Carole loved spending time with her grandchildren and liked playing all types of games. She also enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. Carole was an active member of 1st Baptist Church, Granbury. She will be greatly missed and loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Cordell and parents: Thomas Wesley Howe and Norma June Howe; sister: Norma Chadwick; and brother Ronald G. Howe.

Carole is survived by her daughter: Robbie Reid and husband Steve; son: Robert Wayne Cordell; grandchildren: Samuel Reid and wife Pam, Benjamin Reid, Alexandra Reid, Andrew Reid, Nathan Cordell and brother: Thomas W. Howe, Jr.
