Denny J Atkison peacefully passed from this life on Wednesday, July 24 2019 at his home in Duncan , Ok.

Denny was born in Blytheville ,AR To Paul and Hazel Atkison on March 21, 1954. Shortly after birth his family moved to Pixley California, where he was raised and meet his wife of 41 years Carolyn, they where married in Oct of 1977 in Tulare, CA . They resided in that area for a short time before moving to Duncan , OK. He worked at Halliburton Energy Services in the early 1980's and spent the last 37 years working for Duncan Public School at Woodrow Wilson Elementary. Denny was a homebody that enjoyed listening to music, arts & crafts and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn . His sons Jason and Richard , and Daughter Teressa, 6 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildern. Sister Gerri and husband Bud. Sister Phillis. Brother Marvin and wife Barbara. Two Brother in laws Chuck and wife Renee and Barry and wife Jan. As well as numberous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
