Donald "Donnie' Williams, 79, of Duncan, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at his home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Hall and the Rev. Randy Southerland officiating, interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Oklahoma and arrangements are under the direction and family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

There will be a visitation for family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Donnie was born Feb. 13, 1937, in Comanche, Oklahoma, to John Wesley and Myrtle Elizabeth (Shaw) Williams, Donnie worked and retired from the City of Duncan where he was the electrical inspector and the code enforcement officer at his retirement, after his retirement he operated his own electrical business until his health began to slow him down. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and had been a member since 1963 in the Duncan Lodge.

He married Audry Sanders on Nov. 19, 1955, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and to this union were born two sons, Donald Lee and Sandran Jeffery Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Audry (Alliece) Williams, of the home; two sons, Donald Lee Williams, of Duncan, Oklahoma, Sandran Jeffery Williams, of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother, L.V. Williams, of Comanche, Oklahoma and a sister Genive Gallaher, of Duncan, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Kasey Williams, Kyle Williams, Heather White, Lauren Williams, three great-grandchildren, Taden Williams, Van Burton and Noah White.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley and Myrtle Elizabeth Williams; brothers, Marshall Williams, J.B. Williams, A.C. Williams, Jimmy Williams, and William Franklin Williams.

Pallbearers are Neil Roberts, Bruce Snider, Jim Morley, Terry Walls, Jim Lawrence, Jeff Tess and John Latta. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Powell, Paul Brandt and Jerry Brown.
