Doyce Gene  Rochell
Doyce Gene Rochell, 76, of Comanche, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at his home with his loving wife and family by his side. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Old Velma Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home and military honors provided by Stephens County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Doyce Gene Rochell was born on October 18, 1943 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Clifton and Lamenteen (Whitaker) Rochell. Doyce attended Empire High School and attended Murray State. He joined the US Air Force working as a jet engine and helicopter mechanic and served his country honorably. He married the love of his life Donna Lue Jones on June 11, 1966 in Duncan, Oklahoma. Doyce worked in the oil and gas industry as a mechanic and plant operator and was last employed with Marathon Oil Company for seven years before retiring in 2008. He enjoyed camping, fishing, elk hunting, and working in his garage.
Doyce was preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Lamenteen Rochell and his sister Mildred Williams. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty three years Donna Lue Rochell of the home; his children, Darla Jean Rochell of Palestine, Texas and Doyce Wayne Rochell of Comanche, Oklahoma; his brother, Royce Rochell; his sisters, Mable "Babe" Biffle and Joyce Bohannan, his granddaughter, Carissa Billingsley and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
