Glen (Sam)  Walker
Glen (Sam) Walker, 98, of Duncan, Oklahoma arrived into his world on February 10, 1921 in Ringling, Oklahoma and departed to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday November 4, 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Walker, of the home; daughter from previous wife Mildred Lucille Tipton Glenda Walker Morse and husband Tom of Bullhead City, Arizona, daughter Martha Walker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son, Bob Walker and wife Kathy of Springer, Oklahoma. In addition he is survived by his grandchildren, Donald Pruitt, Sami Wolf, Trudy Gomez, January Cadotte, Stacy Vinson, Terra Powell, Shannon Conway; great grandchildren, Melissa and Dale, Elizabeth and Jackson Mystery, Megan Payton Gomez, Alexia Gomez, Mason Jones, Ayvoree Vinson, Khloe Conway, Huck Conway, Asher Powell, Sawyer Powell and Harper Powell, and many nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Emma Walker, brother, Joe Walker, sisters, Emma L. Hurd and Margret McNeill, and son Michael G. Walker.

Sam joined the Navy and served his country honorably as an instructor on landing craft while stationed in San Diego, California. He loved and cherished his entire family to include his extended work family. He was a jokester who enjoyed telling stories and pulling jokes on whomever he was with, especially the people he worked with or played golf with.

Services will be 10:30am on Friday November 8 at the Don Grantham Chapel. Internment will follow at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home
