Harold (Harry) Raymond Oberender Obituary

Memorial service for Harold Raymond Oberender, 57, will be at 1 p.m. Friday July 15, 2016, at the Carter Smart Funeral Home Chapel. Harold passed away on July 2, 2016 at his residence.

He was born Dec. 23, 1958, in Wurtzburg, Germany, to Wendell Tallman and Sonja Leiselotta Oberender. He grew up in and around the Lawton area and went to school in Elgin. He spent his life in construction for various companies, this allowed him to travel and see the world. He loved his construction jobs because he enjoyed building things and leaving his mark on the world. He took great pride in each and every project he was involved in and did the best job possible in all his endeavors. He lived life the way he wanted.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell Tallman Oberender; his mother, Sonja Leiselotta Oberender and his niece, Amanda Leigh Hill-Butemeyer.

Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosemarie and Don Hill, Ramona and Michael Johnson and Rita and Robert Lott.

Brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Elizabeth Oberender and Gary Oberender and Tera Scarbrough. Nephews, Justin Hill and wife Diana, Jared Johnson and wife Janna and Jordan Johnson; grand-niece, Aubree Leigh Hilland; grand-nephew Jasper Johnson.
