On Sept 3, 2022 Jane Kathleen (Brister) Flippen passed away at age 68.
Jane was born on December 28, 1953 in Duncan, OK to JC and Babe (Byford) Brister. Jane spent her early adult years raising her children and then in 1988 she received a Bachelor's degree from Cameron University. She worked for many years at the City of Duncan and then for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services where she retired in 2014.
Jane is survived by her children: Kelly Flippen and wife Jenni of Lubbock, TX; Kasey Byers and husband John of Duncan; grandchildren: Dondi Flippen and Kelbi Flippen of Hunstville, TX; Bailey Byers and Kaden Byers of Duncan; 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Judy Leonhart and husband Larry of Plano, TX; Jill Lopez and husband Robert of Duncan.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, Sept. 8, from 6-8pm at New Hope Baptist Church West. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 9, at 10am in the Duncan Cemetery.
