Janice Jean (Andrews) Peck, 82, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away Friday morning, December 15, 2017 with her family at her side. An informal gathering of her family and friends will be at her home at 3616 Bob White Avenue in Norman, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2017 to celebrate her life. Janice's ashes will be buried in the Duncan Cemetery by family in a private setting at a later date.

Janice was born December 24, 1934 in Waurika, Oklahoma to George & Nola (Cantrell) Andrews. She was raised in Waurika and attended Waurika Schools. She graduated in 1953 with honors from Waurika High School. In addition to being a homemaker and mother, Janice was a Design Draftsman for Halliburton Services. In 1986, she retired after 20 years of service. She was a past president of the Forsythia Garden Club in Duncan. She married the love of her life James Otis Peck on July 12, 1953 in Henrietta, Texas.

They lived 63 years of their married life in Duncan. In October of 2016 their daughter Karen Louise Peck, graciously opened her home to her parents in Norman, Oklahoma, where Janice lived until her death. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and she will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Janice is survived by her husband; James Otis Peck of the home; daughter Jeanetta Ann (Peck) Betzen and her husband Tom of Ardmore; son, James Robert Peck of Duncan; daughter, Karen Louise Peck of the home; brothers, R. F. 'Bud' Andrews of Banning, California and John Landon Andrews of Banning, California. She is also survived by Brandy Renee' (Smith) Bell of Norman (her first grandchild); Rebecca Leanne (Betzen) Haynes of Ardmore; Elizabeth Nicole Betzen of Ardmore; Daniel James Peck of Duncan; Seth-Ray Pallaton Smith of Norman; Anna-Laura Halona Bell of Norman; Cooper Gregory Bell of Norman; many nieces and nephews and other family members.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, George & Nola Andrews; brothers, George 'Bill' Andrews, Howard Andrews, Bob Andrews; sisters, Eugene 'Gene' (Andrews) Wilkinson, May (Andrews) Bulger, Alice (Andrews) Woods; Mercedes 'Mert' (Andrews)Seiler, Kathryne (Andrews)Larrick.
