Jerry Don Wilson Obituary

Jerry Don Wilson, 59, of Duncan, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016, at his home.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Parkview Baptist Church, interment will follow at Marlow Cemetery, arrangements are under the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.

Jerry was born June 16, 1956, in San Diego, California, to Sheldon Willard and Wanda LaFern (Dixon) Wilson. Jerry was a Duncan Police Officer for 26 years retiring in 2004. He was a member of City Heights Baptist Church. He married Sheryl Garrison May 26, 1982, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Sheryl of the home; sons, Michael Wilson and his wife Amy of Duncan, Oklahoma and James Wilson of Duncan, Oklahoma; a daughter, Jennifer Brackin and her husband Darrell of Duncan, Oklahoma; brothers, Roy Wilson of Sanger, Texas and Dean Wilson of Tyler, Texas; sisterss Donna Wolak and her husband Robert of Lewis, Delaware and Sue Williams of Healdton, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Kaiden, Addison, Aubri, Kenzie Brackin and Emily, MiKena and Hunter Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sheldon and Wanda Wilson and a brother, George Wilson.

Pallbearers will be Delbert Rhodes, Charley Turner, Rick Lang, Clyde Berry, Bo Walker Keith Stewart and John Byers.
