Duncan - John Anthony Clark, affectionately known as Tony to his friends and family, passed away peacefully, at the age of 71, Nov. 21, 2025, in his hometown of Duncan, Oklahoma. Born Sept. 24, 1954, Tony's life was one marked by affection, dedication and musical brilliance, all underscored by his unwavering faith.

Memorial services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at the Marlow Cemetery, with Ron Stough officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services.

Tony was a loving son to his mother, Juanita Clark, and grew up surrounded by a supportive family composed of many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss his kind presence. His life was enriched by his beloved partner, Doug Nicol, who preceded him in death, alongside his father, Bill Clark, and his brother, Steve Clark.

A proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Tony fostered his degree in finances into a successful career as a respected accountant, where his precision and trustworthiness earned him the admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.

Faith played a significant role in Tony's life. As a member of the Chisholm Trail Church of Christ, he embodied Christian principles through his actions and words. He lived his life as an example of the love and grace taught in his faith, touching the lives of all those he encountered.

Tony's passions extended beyond his work and church contributions. He was a gifted musician, finding joy in playing the piano, organ, and French horn. Many will remember the tender melodies that flowed from his fingertips, touching the hearts of all who had the pleasure of listening. In the solitude of his garden, Tony found tranquility and purpose, tending to his plants with the same care and attention that he gave to every relationship in his life.
