Lawton - Karen Sue Henry, born May 10, 1964, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Chester and Lois (Campbell) Mitchell, left this earth to be with her heavenly father Nov. 9, 2025, at the age of 61. A devoted home health care nurse, Karen dedicated her life to caring for others with compassion and grace.

Karen found joy in life's simple pleasures - solving puzzles, reading, spending time with animals and coloring on her tablet. Her greatest happiness came from being with her family, cherishing every moment shared. She was a proud member of Freedom Biker Church, where she found community and spiritual strength. Her warmth, kindness and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband David Henry; daughter Victoria Marie Henry; brother Samuel Dewayne Mitchell; and brother-in-law Johnny Harrison.

Survivors include her son Joshua Henry of Muskogee, Oklahoma; brother Ricky O. Mitchell and wife Irene of Duncan, Oklahoma; sister, Barbara J Harrison of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes there are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
