Lester Floyd Selby Obituary

Lester Floyd Selby, of Duncan, passed away after a long illness on July 31, 2016, in Meridian, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2016, at Grace Nazarene Church in Marlow, Oklahoma. Lester was born March 22, 1951, to Floyd and Cordell Selby in Waurika, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Waurika High School and was employed in pipeline construction and the trucking profession. He enjoyed Church, travel and a good laugh with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Jari Selby; stepsons, Michael Ford and wife Bridget, Chris Ford and wife Mandie; siblings, Gertie Prather, Henry Selby, Bobbie Martin, Minnie Luce, William Selby; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members.

Lester was preceded in death by parents Floyd and Cordell Selby; first wife, Vickie (Clayburn) Selby, daughter, Leslie Selby, siblings, Linda Fae, Bonnie Ruth, and Burton Selby.

In lieu of Flowers the family requests donations be made to Victory Hospice headquartered in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
