Linda Cheryl Cook, 66, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at her home with her family at her side.

Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at the Assumption Catholic Church with Father Joseph David officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery, arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-smart Funeral Home.

Rosary services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at the Carter-smart Funeral Home with family visitation to follow until 8 p.m.

Linda was born Aug. 25, 1950, in Liberal, Kansas to Calvin and Katherine "Buckmaster" Ools, she graduated from Marshall High School in 1968, She married Mike Cook Feb. 4, 1977, in Enid, Oklahoma, they moved from Pond Creek, Oklahoma to Duncan 17 years ago, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and daughter. Linda was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church, Linda and Mike were members of the Starlighter's Dance Club, she loved ballroom dancing with her husband and spoiling her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband Mike of the home, sons; Alex Cook and his wife Theresa Cook of Bentonville, Arkansas and William Cook of Duncan, Oklahoma, also by daughters; Angelia Wolfe and her husband James of Duncan, Oklahoma and Sheri Cook-Sandve and her husband Lukas of Denver, Colorado, her father; Calvin Ools, sisters; Ethel Rudd and her husband Bud of Perryton, Texas and Brenda Cooper of Enid, Oklahoma and nine grandchildren and her beloved pet Heather.

Pallbearers will be Russell Kindred, John Sutton, Rex Gates, Bud Rudd, David Scott and Edmond Earnheart.

In Lieu of Flowers memorial may be sent to the Carter-Smart Funeral Home for Southwest Cancer Center of Oklahoma for the Serenity Garden, or to a charity of their choice.
