Today, I learned of the passing of Mallie. I would say a day of great sadness but for me it is a day of celebration of a truly great humble man. My mother (Mallie’s cousin) Christeen and Wilford Adkins always loved Mallie and held him in the highest regard in our home. Here at our Florida home we recently had guest from Velma. We discussed Mallie’s church life career and great attitude. He was just as loving and gracious as I remember my Aunt Flossie being. God be with Mallie.
