Martha Sue Coker, 83, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016, at her home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Mike Manaugh officiating. Interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-smart Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
Martha was born Nov. 9, 1932, in Tyler, Texas to Burt and Susie (Walters) Westbrook. Martha graduated from Houston Memorial School of Nursing, was a homemaker, a registered Nurse, wife, mother and grandmother, she was a member of the Eastern Star of Duncan Chapter # 39 and the First Presbyterian Church. Martha married Charles Coker March 9, 1956, at Ellington Airforce Base Chapel in Houston, Texas.
Survivor's include her husband, Charles of the home; sons, Stewart Lynn and his wife Beatrix of Edmond, Oklahoma, Lloyd Douglas and his wife Margaret of Davis, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by a son, David Allen Coker. Also surviving are nieces, Chryl Davidson and her husband Kery, Diana Woods and her husband Ken, Marie Anderson and her husband Chuck, and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
