After retiring from DOD, Melvina began her most cherished career - that of a tour director, sales representative, and charter coordinator for LATCO Charters in Lawton, Oklahoma. Her trips went from one coast to the other traveling with many of her dearest friends.
Melvina loved to cook, read, sew, crochet, embroider, and travel. Above all, she cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who brought her the greatest joy of her life.
