Raymond H.  Oxford
Raymond H. Oxford, age 73,of Alma, departed this life on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00A.M. Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Ratliff City with Rev. Glynn Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Alma Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home in Ratliff City.

Raymond was born on January 15, 1946 to the late Mr. Joe L. Oxford and Mrs. Marie (Thacker) Oxford in Alma, Oklahoma. He lived his entire life in the Alma area.

Mr. Oxford graduated from Velma High School with the class of 1964. Raymond was a very quite man that spoke few words but when he spoke he said exactly what he thought. He enjoyed his daily visits to Martys to drink coffee and play dominoes.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Eula Faye Reece; and a brother-in-law, Charlie Jones.

He is survived by his brother, Cecil Oxford and his wife Doylene of Liberty Hills, TX; sisters, Shirley Jones of Alma, Wanda Forshee and her husband Lee of Ratliff City; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be John Gilby, Jeff Jones, Trey Forshee, Kelly Gilby, Billy Earl Thacker, and Mike Pollack.
