Scott T. 'S.T.' Buycks Jan. 6, 1932 - April 14, 2010 Scott T. "S.T." Buycks, 78, of Duncan passed away Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 at his home in Duncan. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Monday in the Stone Chapel Church with Reverend Lacy Monroe officiating. Interment will be in the Ft. Sill National Veterans Cemetery at Elgin under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. S.T. was born January 6, 1932 at Tatum, Oklahoma the son of F.S. and Zephaniah Swindwell Buycks. He graduated from the Tatum High School in 1949. He served in the United States Army from January 6, 1953 to January 7, 1955. He served during the Korean Conflict and receive the National Defense Service and Good Conduct Medals. He came to Duncan in 1955 from Tatum. He and Geraldine Adams were married at Oklahoma City on September 20, 1996. He retired from Hallibuton after working over 30 years and then at the Delta Nutrition Center and loved watching sports especially football and playing dominos. Survivors include his wife Geraldine Buycks of the home in Duncan; a son Dwight Buycks of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a brother Roscoe Buycks of Tatum, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Jessica Buycks, Marquis Buycks, Donta Buycks and Dwight T. Buycks, Jr.; five great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
