Marlow - Stanley Ray Swanson, 78, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, in Marlow, Oklahoma. He was born on May 27, 1947, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Ewell and Aliene (Holt) Swanson.
Stanley built a life defined by hard work, integrity and dedication. For more than 50 years, he owned and operated his own electrical company, contributing his skill to countless homes and commercial buildings across the region. He continued working faithfully until his health no longer allowed, a testament to his strong work ethic and commitment to those he served.
Outside of work, Stanley found joy in the outdoors. He loved deer hunting in Oklahoma and Colorado and took pride in making jerky to share with his family. He cherished time spent with friends, swapping stories, laughing and enjoying the simple moments that meant the most to him.
Stanley is survived by his daughter, Shellie Heinen and husband Chris of Colorado; grandchildren: Shannon Reil and husband Brian, Sierra Burghard and husband Shane; great-grandchildren: Walker Reil and another on the way; and brother, Phillip Swanson. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Corey Swanson.
There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
