May 24, 1953 - Oct. 14, 2014 Tajuana Jo "T.J." Martin, 61 of Pensacola, Fla. (formerly of Duncan) died Wednesday, October 8, 2014. at her residence in Pensacola. Graveside Service will be 2 p.m.,Tuesday, at Duncan City Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service, McAlester. The Celebration of Life service is at Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church (formerly Christian Life Cathedral) Refinery Road between Duncan and Comanche Tuesday at 7 p.m. an additional Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Assembly of God, 4301 Bayou Blvd- Pensacola, Thursday, at 7 p.m. Born May 24, 1953, to Joe Wayne and Betty Lou (Taylor) Hanson. T.J. was united in marriage to Larry Martin on May 22, 1981, in Duncan. Together, they made their home in Oklahoma, Missouri and in 2001 moved to Escambia County, Florida. T.J. was a faithful minister's spouse and helpmate, serving alongside Larry during his ministry as pastor and evangelist. She also taught pre-school and home schooled their daughter, Summer. Prior to becoming ill, T.J. had worked for Waterfront Rescue Mission in Pensacola. She is survived by her husband, Larry Martin of Pensacola; daughter, Summer Martin of Pensacola; son, Matthew Martin of Cape Girardeau, Miss.; Grandson, Matthew Martin of Chaffee, Miss.; mother, Betty Ivey of Duncan; sister, Tanya Hanson of Duncan, and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Hanson.
