Thelbert Price, 81, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Norman Hospital with his family at his bedside.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2016, at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel, with Ronnie Roskam officiating. Interment will follow at the Marlow Cemetery and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Family and friend's visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Thelbert was born April 23, 1935, in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Marvin and Dulcie Holman. He worked as an oilfield mechanic, and was a member of the Ambuc's. Thelbert married Kaye Abrams June 19, 1981, in Duncan, Oklahoma. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Thelbert is survived by his wife, Kaye of the home; sons, Tim Price of Yukon, Oklahoma and John Price of Duncan, Oklahoma; daughter, Cynthina Falkenberg of Tennessee; a sister, Dorothy Mayes of Duncan, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Arnold, Bob, Henry and Elbert; four sisters, Marcella Cherry, Frances Woods, Omega Suttle and Velma Summers.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
