Wesley Byron Taylor
Wesley Byron Taylor, 56, of Edmond, Oklahoma, formerly of Duncan, passed away on February 9, 2020. Wesley "Scrap" was born January 1, 1964 in Duncan to Jim and Linda Sue Taylor.
Wes was an outdoorsman and explorer, enjoying fishing and camping. He was an awesome writer and artist and loved listening to rock 'n' roll. His greatest loves were his son and grandsons.
Wes was preceded in death by his father, James C. Taylor and his mother, Linda Sue Pruitt Taylor; his paternal grandparents, Wes D. and Mary Taylor and maternal grandparents, Carl Pruitt and Berniece Pruitt.
Survivors include his brother, James Rhett Taylor of Duncan; his son, Byron Wade Taylor of Los Angeles, California; his grandsons, Kendel James Lewis Taylor of Fort Worth, Texas and Elijah Gabriel Matthew Taylor of Los Angeles, California; his aunt, Dane Gentry of Calvert City, Kentucky; and his half-sister, Sadonna Heathman of Hartline, Washington.
In keeping with the wishes of Wes, there will be no funeral services. The family asks that any sympathy gifts be given in memory of Wes to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. His Facebook page will remain open and all are welcome to post memories and final words there.
